Position Title: Property Manager
Team: General Office
Reports to: Manager/Principal
Hours of work: Full time with one Saturday morning 10.00 – 12.00 by arrangement
POSITION SUMMARY & PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Portland Seaview Real Estate aims to provide competitive services in the real estate market, selling and managing residential and commercial property. The individual in the Property Manager role is required to contribute to the provision of quality service by providing management of residential/industrial/commercial properties on behalf of the owner and tenant and for the real estate practice in professional and efficient manner which will reflect the company’s reputation in the real estate industry. This will necessitate a high standard of personal demeanor including professional standards of dress acceptable to the company.
Supporting a team of professionals, the individual will be required to demonstrate initiative and work as an enthusiastic team member in accordance with the organisations office routines and procedures, keeping in mind the overall business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
Strong administrative skills – organised, systems orientated with meticulous attention to details to carry out rental inspections, plus entry and exit inspections. Preparation of tenancy documentation- leases and maintenance issues.
- Ability to communicate on all levels. Mediation experience in resolving Tenancy Tribunal matters including VCAT appearances.
- Ability to use Console software package, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.
- To create a positive impression with the most professional courteous and expedient manner and to continually strive for superior client service. Proactive, punctual and reliable. Well presented and well spoken.
- Enjoys dealing with people daily, able to assist with rental enquiries and is tolerant of all people, polite but assertive.
- Previous experience in administrative/real estate industry.
- Internet experience e.g. emails, download photos, update web site information including sales/rentals.
- Handle rental receipts, compile and transact daily banking – Console. Trust account banking daily.
- Drivers license
- Agent’s Representative certificate is a requirement for this position, if the prospective employee does not have an Agent’s Representative certificate it must be obtain within the three month qualifying period.
